ROUTE TO THE MONT-REBEI GORGE FROM THE PERTUSA HERMITAGE
A classic route that will allow us to know the geology and ecosystems of Montsec, as well as the habitat of otters and raptors birds. We will find traces of prehistoric establishments or the medieval border between Catalonia and Al-Andalus.
We will leave from the Pertusa hermitage, near Corça town, within the Mont-rebei nature reserve. The route runs though the GR1, will take us to the spectacular gorge of Mont-rebei, where the path carved into the rock runs though it. We will visit the remains of old civilizations in the Colomera cave, until we reach the iron bridge of the Maçana ravine. We will return on the same path, but with a different view of the landscape.
