HERMITAGE OF ST. PERE DE LA VALL
Interesting circular route that will take us to visit the Sant Pere de la Vall hermitage (s.XI-XII), passing by the Balcony of St. Linya and the trenches of the National valdol of the Spanish Civil War. It will offer us spectacular views over the Doll walls and the Camarasa swamp, Ares and Rubies Montsec.
We will leave from the town of st. Linya between forest and the fields until we reach the St. Linya balcony, where we will enjoy the impressive views. We will follow the path finding the remains of the national trenches that were part of the Segre front in 1938 of the Spanish civil war. We will finish going down to the deep canyon of St. Peter where we will find the St. Pere de la vall hermitage. To return we will go up the canyon along a path equipped with some chains to the starting point. Before leaving we can visit the St. Linya cave.
